How billing and refunds work for SubmitWise Premium. Last updated June 2026.
SubmitWise offers a single premium subscription of US$10 per month. Your subscription begins on the day your payment is successfully processed and runs for 30 days. It renews automatically every 30 days unless you cancel.
Premium unlocks unlimited use of all free tools (removing the 3-runs-per-day limit) and the complete results of our three premium pre-submission tools: the Peer Review Simulator, the Statistical & Methods Red-Team, and the Reproducibility & Reporting Check. Without premium, these tools show a preview of the results only.
Payments are handled securely by Paddle, which acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. This means Paddle, not SubmitWise, processes your card details and handles billing and any applicable taxes. Your card information is never stored on our servers. Your statement may show a charge from Paddle.
Around day 25 of each billing cycle we send a reminder email so you are never surprised by a renewal. If your payment is not renewed by the end of the 30-day period, your account automatically returns to the free plan — you keep your account and can continue using each tool up to 3 times per day.
You can cancel at any time from your account profile or via the link in any billing email from Paddle. When you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of your current paid period, after which your account reverts to the free plan. There are no cancellation fees.
Because the premium subscription is a low-cost digital service priced at just US$10 per month, and the premium tools deliver their value immediately on use, we generally do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and you will retain access until your current period ends.
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a billing mistake — please contact us and we will review it promptly. Any refunds that are issued are processed through Paddle back to your original payment method. Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country.
